Privacy Policy
Effective September 2026. Restock Radar ("the app", "we") is operated by a sole proprietor in the United States. This policy explains what the app collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store and how that information is used.
What we collect
When you install the app we receive, through Shopify's API, only the data needed to calculate reorder suggestions:
- Product and variant details: titles, SKUs, barcodes, vendor names, product status, and unit cost where available.
- Inventory levels per location: available, on hand, and incoming quantities.
- Order line items from the last 60 days: order date, variant, quantity, and cancellation status. We do not store customer names, addresses, emails, or payment details.
- Store profile: store name, store email, and currency.
You may also enter supplier contact details (name, email, phone, notes) and settings. We store these to generate and send purchase orders on your behalf.
How we use it
To show reorder suggestions, generate purchase orders, email them to the suppliers you specify, and send you the weekly digest email if enabled. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties for their own purposes.
Service providers
- Shopify (platform and billing).
- Railway (application hosting, United States).
- Resend (transactional email delivery for purchase orders and digests).
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the app is installed. When you uninstall, we stop syncing immediately and delete all data for your store within 30 days, in line with Shopify's data protection requirements. You can request earlier deletion by emailing support.
Your rights
Merchants and, where applicable, their customers may request access to or deletion of personal data by emailing support. We respond within 30 days. We honor Shopify's customer data request and redaction webhooks automatically.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database on encrypted storage.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
